An Invitation for a special event in Prague
The Theme: Systems Thinking in a Time of Change
Coping with and managing changes is a key word today; both in the business world and in the public sector. Not surprisingly in a time where everything constantly changes. We want to focus on which ideas the world of Systems Thinking has to offer in this situation. What can we learn from each other across Europe?
Eight systems thinkers from Europe (And Africa) around the world and from different backgrounds, will present their idea on Systems Thinking in a Time of Change - and they will also lead workshops where their ideas can be expanded and perhaps also challenged.
The Venue
is unique - In the very heart of Europe, a city with rich history and culture, a city filled with diversity and magic a city with tradition of innovative philosopical thinking and academic education - the city of Prague.
A great base for interesting local experiences!
The conference will be held at the Autoklub České republiky.
The Czech Automoblie Club is a great place in the centre just a few steps away from Prague´s famous Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square). With lots of atmosphere - and for those who enjoys that, nice vintage cars on display.
The Event
This event is the first in a series of European Sharing on Systems Thinking
With a new theme for each event
Our goal is to create unique conference events where the Topic is combined with connecting to the place where the conference is held and on top of that to add some good culinary experience.
It will be in two main parts connected by the theme and the participants:
17-19 June: conference - 20 June: local experience
An event where participants will be active at workshops led by the speakers and open spaces led by themselves.
Our speakers will be writing an article for an e-book, and connecting before the event, to ensure a good experience.

Peter Bach Lauritzen is a Dane, now living in Prague. He is a supervisor/coach of teacher-trainees, teachers and colleagues, moderator, guest teacher and speaker at conferences and international workshops. In Denmark, he works as a leadership consultant and project leader, leading a teaching project for the municipalities in his hometown Aarhus. As a leader, he uses the Systemic approach and the Appreciative inquiry as his two main approaches to leadership. He has been taking part in several networks for leaders, both internationally nationwide and in the municipalities of Aarhus.
Peter is a key member of the European Appreciative Inquiry Network. He has been a moderator and co-host at their meetings in Zagreb 2012 and Prague 2013 (with Klára Hejduková). Peter was the international coordinator on the Czech Association of Coaches World Meeting of Coaches in April 2014. He is also a lecturer on the Systemicky Institut's program for systemic approach.
Klára Lauritzenová (Hejduková), Former President of the Czech Association of Coaches, Accredited Coach Supervisor. She has been working as an executive coach for 16 years, having a total of 20 years of management and business experience. She is also a supervisor, coaching trainer and consultant of change projects in organisations with more than 7000 hours of coaching experience, more than 300 coachees and another 250 coaching trainees.
She mainly works with company owners, board members and top managers, providing them with complex services addressing both personal growth and company business development issues. This ability to combine these two stems from her wide range of qualifications in managing social systems, as well as psychotherapy.
